* Also known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community
What can you say about a community that will itself be an amenity? Plenty. At River’s Edge, a half-mile trail will wind through park-like groves of mature trees and gardens, revealing stunning views of the Hudson, New Jersey Palisades and a sculpture garden with original works of art. And all paths will lead to a peacefully quiet Zen garden. Your personal residence will be a well-appointed, customizable apartment home.
Inside, you’ll find a juice and coffee bar, yoga studio and stunning, indoor pool and spa, as well as spaces devoted to wellness and creativity and cuisine created by the finest chefs. Dining venues will include a casual, yet elegant restaurant, plus a sushi bar, a hip Mediterranean café, a bistro or deli and an open grill.
The aesthetic beauty of River’s Edge will take your breath away, and soothe your soul with quiet, modern surroundings and light-infused spaces.
All-inclusive services at River’s Edge will assure a life of freedom, with housekeeping and linen service, all utilities, 24-hour concierge, scheduled local transportation, an emergency hotline, and interior and exterior maintenance.
River’s Edge will be part of one of the most vibrant cities in the world… close to the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Sited on an expansive, park-like, 32-acre campus in historic Riverdale, the community will be a neighbor to prestigious private estates.
You’ll also be close to Wave Hill, a 28-acre estate transformed into public horticultural gardens and a cultural center.
Stunning campus views of the Hudson will range from the George Washington Bridge to the Mario Cuomo Bridge.
River’s Edge will keep you well connected, with a twenty-minute trip to Grand Central Station, easy access to Westchester County and secure, gated privacy.
Conventional wisdom says there are seven dimensions of wellness, but your wellness at River’s Edge will be infinitely dimensional.
Well-equipped, handsomely appointed spaces will give you freedom to pursue fitness objectives under the guidance of a trainer.
You’ll create your latest work of art in dedicated studio spaces that offer natural light and handsome finishes.
Or convene with fellow residents over coffee in the on-site bistro, and then join them for a concert, lecture or class.
Lifelong learning will feature partnerships with leading academic institutions, which offers an extensive adult education curriculum.
You’ll select from among a host of programs and opportunities, curated to the personal preferences of our residents. We encourage you to pursue your personal passions.
